The venue for WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 has been confirmed to be Perth, Australia. The PLE will take place on Saturday, February 24 at the Optus Stadium (aka Perth Stadium).
WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 To Take Place In Perth
This will mark the promotion’s first event in Australia since 2018’s Super Show-Down event. This event is also scheduled to be the WWE’s only PLE in the Asia-Pacific region for 2024, although it can be expected to be the first of several international excursions for the 2024 year.
WWE is working in partnership with the Western Australian Government through Tourism Western Australia to make this event a reality. The Optus Stadium was completed in late 2017 before being opened in 2018 and, since then, the multi-purpose stadium has played host to several events. The venue’s capacity ranges between 61,000 – 70,000. The 2024 Elimination Chamber event will mark the venue’s first-ever pro-wrestling event.
The WWE has several Australian talent including Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, Grayson Waller, Indi Hartwell, and Bronson Reed amongst others. It can be expected that these wrestlers feature on the show and other public engagements in the build-up.
