WWE RAW: Becky Lynch Becomes Women’s World Champion
The WWE Women’s World Championship was on the line in the main event of Monday Night RAW, in a battle royal. For the first time in 17 years, a World Championship is on the line in a battle royal and the women are all vying for a life changing moment.
Beck Lynch Wins Gold
Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Maxxine Dupri, Ivy Nile, Kayden Carter, Kanata Chance, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell, Shayna Baszler, Natalya, Piper Niven, Chelsea Green and Zoey Stark all competed in the multi-woman battle royal. In the end, the match came down to the final five of Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler, Liv Morgan and Nia Jax in the ring, plus, Becky Lynch on the outside who was never eliminated, but was put through the announcers table at ringside.
Zoey and Shayna were eliminated by Nia Jax before Becky made her way back into the ring. We’re down to three. A combination maneuver took down all three momentarily, until Nia Jax was the first back up. But, Becky and Liv worked together to try to beat down Nia Jax. It took some effort, but they both tossed Nia Jax out. We’re now down to the final two at this point. Becky Lynch versus Liv Morgan to determine the new Women’s World Champion. In the end, Becky Lynch hit the ManHandle Slam on the apron, eliminating Liv Morgan. Becky Lynch is the new WWE Women’s World Champion and a 7 Time WWE Champion overall.
