As first reported by Andscape, Thunderbolt Patterson will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
Claude ‘Thunderbolt’ Patterson began his professional wrestling career in 1964 and, over the two decades of consistent in-ring activity before retiring in 1985, he would wrestle for various promotions and have several championships. His nicknames included ‘K.O. Patterson’, ‘Sweet Daddy Brown’, and ‘T-Bolt’.
Patterson captivated audiences with his promo style, which mimicked Black Southern pastors. Patterson, although known for his in-ring work, predominantly served as an advocate for the health and protection of wrestlers.
Patterson was a pioneer in the wrestling industry, and he will be a part of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
