Ring Of Honor Results – August 3, 2023
Ring Of Honor is back for the twenty-third episode on HonorClub. Tonight’s show is bug action including ROH Women’s Champion in action against Diamanté. Plus, Gates Of Agony takes on the Boys, and in the main event, JD Drake and Anthony Henry battle the highflying team of Vikingo and Komander.
Anthony Henry of the WorkHorsemen kicked off the match with Komander. Early on, the WorkHorsemen had a solid plan to keep the high-flying duo on the ground, but it wasn’t as easy as they believed, due to the speed of Komander and Vikingo.
Quickly, the Lucha duo took to the sky and were flying all around the ring, from inside and out to take down their opponents. Vikingo even hit a pretty far-distance frog splash for a near fall on JD Drake. He had the crowd wowed after a spinning head scissors and it seemed like he was rocking and rolling, but Anthony Henry got involved to help JD Drake regain control of the match.
Now, the WorkHorsemen had Vikingo reeling, while he tried to fight over to his corner for a tag. Eventually, he got there, allowing Komander to come in like a man on a mission, taking the fight to Drake and Henry.
Both teams were going back and forth, it was coming down to the wire, but in the end, Komander and Vikingo hit double moonsaults to the outside to have The WorkHorsemen on edge before hitting a double 450 Splash on JD Drake for the win. It was a great showing for all four men, but the high-flying Vikingo and Komander picked up the win.
