Ring Of Honor Results: August 24, 2023
Ring Of Honor is back for the twenty sixth episode on HonorClub. Tonight’s show includes a NJPW TV Championship match, where Zack Sabre Jr. defends his title against Christopher Daniels in the main event. Plus, Blake Christian is back and will take on Brandon Culter and we will see ROH Champion Claudio Castagnoli in action.
Zack Sabre Jr is here to defend his NJPW Television Title. But, before the match, it was revealed that the winner will face Metalik next week in a championship match.
Christopher Daniels is vying for his first singles title under the NJPW umbrella, but Sabre wasn’t looking to give up the title that easy. Sabre was working holds early, as he typically does with his grinding style that breaks the limbs of his opponents.
But, Daniels started to fight back and had Zack reeling while he used his power and speed to keep Sabre on the defensive end.
But, Sabre’s early investment on the limb work started to pay off as he targets the arms of Christopher Daniels, making sure he couldn’t hit his “Angels Wings” finisher. When his arms were too hurt to pick Sabre up, Zack reversed into a double arm lock and forced Daniels to submit. Zack Sabre Jr is Still the NJPW Television Champion.
