Randy Orton Set For WWE Return At Survivor Series: War Games
The Apex Predator Randy Orton is back in WWE after being announced as the fifth member of the Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso and Seth Rollins War Games team.
Randy Orton Returns To WWE
Drew McIntyre kicked off Monday Night RAW and officially announced that he will be joining the Judgment Day’s War Games team this Saturday. Following this, both teams had a face-off, but general manager Adam Pearce warned them that they could not touch ahead of tonight’s advantage match. He then explained that each team had to choose a team member to fight in a singles match tonight for the War Games advantage, and he warned Cody’s team that they had to find a fifth member by the end of the night.
Drew McIntyre and Jey Uso ended up being the two going head to head in the main event. Drew picked up the win, which granted team Judgement Day the War Games advantage, meaning they enter the match first and always have a one up advantage until all 10 competitors are in the ring. Following the match, a brawl broke out between both of the teams. After it was split up, Cody Rhodes revealed that he called a friend that he’s had a legacy with, and that’s none other than the Apex Predator, Randy Orton.
Randy Orton wasn’t not live on RAW, only announced. So, Randy Orton will officially make his on-screen WWE return this Saturday at Survivor Series: War Games. Orton has been on the shelf for over a year with a back injury, and there were times WWE and Orton’s camp feared he may have to retire due to the injuries. But, he’s back and he’s going to war this Saturday night!
