Orange Cassidy vs. Claudio Castagnoli Set For AEW Dynamite 

Orange Cassidy won the International Championship back from Rey Fenix weeks ago, now he’s back to his constant defending with his new title reign. 

Orange Cassidy Defends His Title

Orange Cassidy teamed up with Kazuchika Okada to take on the Blackpool Combat Club’s Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli in the main event of this weeks AEW Dynamite. In the end, Claudio was able to pick up the win for his team by pinning Orange Cassidy. It’s a rare occasion to see the International Champion get pinned these days, so the victory has earned Claudio Castagnoli a shot at Orange’s title and he will receive that match on the November 1st edition of AEW Dynamite next Wednesday. 

Claudio Castagnoli is a former ROH World Champion, recently losing the title to Eddie Kingston. Now, he will get a chance to win his first ever AEW Championship with his match against Orange Cassidy for the AEW International Championship. Can Claudio capture his first title in the company? Or will Orange Cassidy continue his reign into the Full Gear Pay-Per-View on November 18th? We’ll see next Wednesday night. 

You can watch AEW Dynamite every Wednesday at 8PM ET on TBS. So far, this is the only match announced for the show, but more match announcements are expected at this Saturday’s AEW Collision.
