Adam Smith To DAZN?

Eddie Hearn has now hinted that Smith could join him at Matchroom/DAZN.

Hearn told Seconds Out “I had lunch with him the other day. One of the greatest commentators in the history of the sport, a great boxing mind. I don’t think he’s going to struggle to find his way back in the sport, maybe with us, maybe with DAZN.”

Matchroom Media control the production/commentary for their UK shows with Mike Costello currently in the lead commentator role.

The team also involves Darren Barker, Andy Lee and occasionally Barry Jones.

Alternative from, or in addition to, commentary, Adam Smith could theoretically land a role heading up the boxing department at DAZN – a role not too dissimilar from his position at Sky.
