Big-punching Belfast Welterweight Lewis Crocker is looking to make it two big wins in two months when he takes on Mexican danger-man Jose Felix at the Ulster Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Saturday, January 27, live worldwide on DAZN.

Fresh from his shutout points win over fellow Northern Irishman Tyrone McKenna earlier this month in a fight dubbed the ‘Battle of Belfast’, 26-year-old Crocker (18-0, 10 KOs) is out to make a statement against the man who handed Naas Lightweight hope Gary Cully his first loss in the professional ranks earlier this year.

‘The Croc’, who picked up four wins from four fights in 2023, is unbeaten since making his professional debut at Belfast’s Waterfront Hall back in 2017 – and the powerful Billy Nelson-trained fighter is hoping for an active 2024 as he looks to build towards further title opportunities in the competitive 147lbs division.

Sinaloa’s Felix (40-6-1, 31 KOs) is well-known amongst Irish fight fans following his stunning upset win over Cully on the undercard of Katie Taylor’s first meeting with Chantelle Cameron at the 3Arena in Dublin back in May – and the 31-year-old nicknamed ‘Josesito’ is looking to make it two wins in a row against Irish opposition.

2020 Olympian Cheavon Clarke (7-0, 5 KOs) faces the former European champion Tommy McCarthy (20-5, 10 KOs) in the chief support.

McCarthy has been stopped by Richard Riakporhe, Chris Billam-Smith and Michael Cieslak last time out.

The 33-year-old is coming to the latter stage of his career but fans will not quickly forget his fight camp sizzler with reigning world champion Billam-Smith in 2021 where many felt that McCarthy had done enough to get the nod.

Clarke has progressed the quickest out of all of the male Olympians with the exciting pro dominating a very game Vasil Ducar in September.

‘C4 Chev’ is mandatory for the British title but with Isaac Chamberlain pursuing European Gold against Poland’s Michal Cieslak, Clarke has had to wait to find out what is going on with the Lonsdale belt.

Conah Walker (12-2-1, 4 KOs) faces undefeated domestic rival Lloyd Germain (9-0, 1 KO) over ten rounds at welterweight.

Walker stopped Cyrus Pattinson in a significant upset last summer and the pair were supposed to rematch next month but Pattinson has unfortunately withdrawn.

The Midlands fighter instead takes on the unbeaten Welsh and Celtic champion in what should be a fan-friendly encounter.

Andy Lee-trained Limerick Welterweight talent Paddy Donovan (12-0, 9 KOs) will have his first fight of 2024 over ten rounds.

Donovan faces Argentina’s Williams Andres Herrera (15-2, 6 KOs), who extended Canadian prospect Josh Wagner in July.

Donovan will eagerly be watching the main event as an all-Irish clash between Donovan and Crocker seems almost inevitable should both remain undefeated.

Guildford Lightweight prospect Giorgio Visioli (1-0, 1 KO) fights for the second time as a pro against Samuel Pikire (4-2) over six rounds at lightweight.

Newham Middleweight Leli Buttigieg (1-0, 1 KO) returns to Belfast for his second pro fight facing Artjom Spatar (4-4).

Kurt Walker (9-0, 1 KO) will be looking for a second career stoppage with late-notice journeyman Darwing Martinez (8-17-2) looking to upset another undefeated prospect on British soil.
