WWE RAW: Nia Jax Returns, Lays Out Rhea Ripley

WWE RAW saw Rhea Ripley defend her Women’s Championship in the main event against Raquel Rodriguez. The match ended in stunning fashion as Nia Jax made a shocking return to the company.

As the match was coming to an end, it looked like Raquel Rodriguez had Rhea Ripley all but finished after a power bomb on the apron. But, as the referee was checking on Rhea, Raquel was attacked from behind by Nia Jax, who laid her out with a Samoan drop and caused Rhea Ripley to pick up the win and retain her title. Following the match, Nia jumped in the ring and attacked the champion, standing tall to end Monday Night RAW.

Nia Jax was released from WWE back in November of 2021. However, she did make a one-off appearance in the Royal Rumble back in January. Fightful Select reported that she had been re-signed to the company for over a month now, but she has finally returned on-screen. Now, it looks like she will be immediately thrust into the Women’s Championship scene.
