Trinity To Defend Title Against Mickie James At IMPACT Bound For Glory 2023

Trinity Set To Defend IMPACT Knockouts World Championship Against Mickie James

Bound For Glory is the flagship annual show for IMPACT, being it’s biggest event of the year. For the 2023 edition, two matches were already confirmed but, following the September 28 show, a match for the IMPACT Knockouts Women’s Championship has been added.

Trinity (fka Naomi) has been the IMPACT Knockouts Women’s Championship since the Slammiversary event in July. Trinity has held the title for over 76 days and she faces the greatest threat to her reign in Mickie James. At the IMPACT 1000 show, James made her return following an injury that kept her out of action since the first quarter of the year. On the September 28 edition of IMPACT, Trinity was attacked by Savannah Evans and Jai Vidal following her main event victory over Gisele Shaw. James would come to the aid of the champion before laying down a challenge of her own.

James has held the IMPACT Knockouts Women’s Championship five times in her career. With this return and challenge to Trinity, she hopes to claim the gold for the sixth time at the biggest event of the year.

IMPACT Bound For Glory takes place on Saturday, October 21 from Cicero Stadium in Chicago, Illinois.
