Edge To Debut At AEW WrestleDream?
Could Edge be on his way to All Elite Wrestling? All signs point towards yes. Per Wrestling Observe Newsletter, Edge’s WWE contract is up on Saturday, September 30th. This would allow him to compete or at least show his face Sunday at the AEW WrestleDream Pay-Per-View.
Edge To All Elite Wrestling?
By no means is this a 100% confirmation that Edge is coming to AEW this Sunday, but many within WWE believe that it’s a forgone conclusion that Edge will show up in AEW sooner rather than later. Edge has been apart of WWE since the WWF Attitude Era. A huge part of that time was spent in a Tag Team with Christian, who is currently the AEW TNT Champion and is set to defend the championship this Sunday against Darby Allin in a 2 out of 3 falls match.
If Edge shows up at AEW WrestleDream, it’ll be interesting to see if he gets involved with Christian again or ventures off on his own. Not only can Edge compete at a top level still, but he would be a great mentor for the young talent to have backstage. AEW WrestleDream is a tribute to the late Antonio Inoki and. Tony Khan himself has promoted a new era following the event. Could that new era involve the Rated R Superstar Edge? Keep a lookout this weekend.
