The Rock And Roman Reigns Team Up?
The Rock made an appearance on the March 1 edition of SmackDown and he made quite the challenge to Cody Rhodes.
To open up the show, WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns came out with the rest of The Bloodline to address the audience. Unimpressed with the live crowd in Glendale, Arizona, ‘The Tribal Chief’ attempted to leave before Paul Heyman stopped him from doing so, on the account of The Rock being yet to come out.
He also delivered a verbal barrage on the crowd before ultimately making it clear that, after careful consideration within The Bloodline, they had a counter-offer for Rhodes’ WrestleMania. On night one of WrestleMania (Saturday, April 6), it will be Reigns and The Rock teaming up to go against Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.
That match would have direct implications on Rhodes’ night two main event against Reigns. If the team of Rhodes and Rollins wins on night one, Rhodes will be guaranteed a Bloodline-free match on night two. However, if Reigns and The Rock win, the match for the Undisputed Universal Championship on night two will be Bloodline Rules, which means that anything goes.
Rhodes is slated to appear on the March 8 SmackDown with an answer to the challenge.
