Sting To Retire At AEW Revolution 2024
Sting made his in-ring debut in late 1985 and has been a mainstay in the wrestling industry since then. Having competed in various promotions including WCW, NWA, TNA (Impact), and WWE, Sting is considered by many to be a true legend of the sport.
Sting signed with AEW in late 2020 with his first match for the promotion taking place at AEW Revolution 2021. Since then, Sting has been a regular fixture for AEW, regularly competing in matches on TV and on PPV.
On the October 18 edition of AEW Dynamite, Sting announced that he had intentions of retiring in 2024. His final match is set to take place at AEW Revolution 2024.
At present, there is no date announced for AEW Revolution 2024, although the event regularly takes place in March. No other matches have been confirmed for the event either but it can be expected that the event will predominantly focus on Sting and his contributions to the world of pro wrestling.
