Roman Reigns To Defend Title Against LA Knight
Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, has been confirmed to be in action at the Crown Jewel PLE on Saturday, November 4. This was first reported by the LA Times before being confirmed by the WWE themselves.
Reigns will defend his title against LA Knight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Knight has been building up momentum over the months with many pondering upon when he might find himself in the main event picture, and it appears that the time has come.
‘The Tribal Chief’ made his return to the WWE on the October 13 edition of SmackDown for the season premiere, following a brief period away from the ring. Reigns’ focus was primarily on The Bloodline but he also shifted his focus to other matters too.
Knight and Reigns had a face-off and an exchange of words in the ring during that show but nothing was confirmed at the time. The October 20 edition of SmackDown will be 15 days away from Crown Jewel, and it can be expected that Knight and Reigns will use those days to build up their feud ahead of their match.
