Logan Paul delivered on his promise to challenge US Champion, Rey Mysterio, on the October 20 edition of SmackDown. Paul wasted no time making his intentions to gain his first piece of WWE gold clear.
Paul is coming off a recent boxing victory against Dillon Danis as the two met in England’s Manchester Arena on October 14. Paul now moves on from that to attempt to capture his first WWE championship.
Mysterio is in his third reign as the US Champion and has held the title for over 71 days. In Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Mysterio will defend his title against the highly-determined Paul.
This becomes the fourth match to be added to the Crown Jewel card, and the second to be confirmed on October 20 following the confirmation of Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed Universal Championship against LA Knight earlier in the day.
