CM Punk To Make Major WWE Decision On Dec. 11 Raw

The recently-returned CM Punk appeared on the December 8 SmackDown, with an update on his decision of which brand he will be joining.

CM Punk Has Plenty Of Options

CM Punk made his triumphant return to the WWE at Survivor Series in late November. Since then, Punk has been operating as a free agent and has appeared on both Raw and SmackDown.

Both the Raw and SmackDown general managers are making a play to acquire Punk as a member of their rosters. Recently, Nick Aldis successfully signed Randy Orton, a fellow returning superstar.

Punk was initially slated to make his brand decision on the December 8 edition of SmackDown but, although he indeed made an appearance on the show, the returning superstar let it be known that he would push back his decision. Punk will reveal his decision on the December 11 edition of Raw, live from the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

Punk also revealed that, in addition to SmackDown and Raw, he will also consider another brand’s offer. Punk revealed that he will also be in conversation with NXT General Manager, Shawn Michaels, to discuss the option of being a part of that brand instead.

During his mic time, Punk also revealed that his ultimate goal is to main event WrestleMania. Before that, he would look to win the Royal Rumble.

Punk is not rushing his decision, and taking the time to weigh and assess the benefits of each brand. On December 11, the wait will be over and he will reveal which brand he will be with moving forward.
