The fight features the WBC and Lineal heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury going toe-to-toe with the WBO/WBA/IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk. The official date for this much-anticipated clash is yet to be announced but the promotion rests in the capable hands of Queensberry, Top Rank, K2, and Usyk17.

Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of The General Entertainment Authority and Head of Riyadh Season, remarked, “This is the fight that everyone has wanted to see for some time and now it is finally happening…It is the biggest fight in boxing, the world will be watching, and we are so proud to be the hosts for this spectacle as part of the fourth edition of our Riyadh Season celebrations.”

Echoing Alalshikh’s enthusiasm, Hall of Fame Promoter Frank Warren of Queensberry Promotions expressed his delight over the signing of this bout, touting it as “the biggest fight that could possibly be made in our sport.” Meanwhile, Spencer Brown, Manager of Tyson Fury, focused on the historic implication of the fight, highlighting Fury’s opportunity to become the first Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion of the four-belt era.

Top Rank chairman Bob Arum and Alex Krassyk of K2 also shared their eagerness for what’s touted as the heavyweight fight of the century, expressing gratitude to everyone instrumental in bringing this legendary night closer to reality.
