TYAN BOOTH saw his 12-year boxing career come to an end in 2018.

The British Middleweight has shared the ring with the likes of Chris Eubank Jr and Liam Williams and even holds wins over domestic-level operators such as Jason Welborn and Marcus Morrison.

Booth’s journey as a professional boxer halted at a 12-11-5 record when he was suspended by the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC).

The Nottingham-born boxer never got his licence back and instead turned his focus to content creation with his YouTube channel ‘TYFL TV’ (mocking iFL TV).

The channel has amassed 27k subscribers and millions of views. It heavily involves commentary review and has a satirical-focused place in boxing.

Through this, Booth has managed to amass a cult-type following that supports his videos and personality.

Tyan Booth Quits In The Middle Of Unlicensed Fight

Booth, 40, stepped into the boxing ring for the first time in over six years last night as part of an ‘unlicensed’ night of boxing in Dudley facing a 20-3 opponent.

Five years of alcohol and drugs did not serve him well though as he looked far from the fighter that was springing upsets against domestic-level competition in 2017.

Booth was warned multiple times for hitting after the break and for extensive holding and was deducted a point in round two.

The ‘cult leader’ looked knackered from the second round with very little landing from either man.

In the third round, Booth’s opponent, Kyle Charles, landed a right hand and closed the distance which allowed Booth to hold on the inside and he did so for more than twenty seconds with the referee having to physically separate them because Booth would not let go.

At the risk of disqualification, Booth simply walked out of the ring after the referee separated the pair. Charles taunted Booth as he was leaving and walking back to the changing room.

Tyan Booth Explains Why He Walked Out Of The Ring

“I don’t know I just went a bit mental in there”, Tyan Booth explained to Boxing King Media, “Chucking the knee in and the elbow and the stuff like that, spitting.”

“It was a freak show, it was a car crash. Anything goes. Walking out of the ring like that, I don’t know.”

“I only trained for like a week and a half, I thought I’d be in prison…A few dodgy things could’ve resulted in getting locked up, I didn’t think I’d fight today. I just wanted to get in there.”
