“Chris Eubank Jr Off Wish”, Undefeated Boxer Goes On HUGE Rant At Press Conference
Mark Dickinson went on a massive rant at today’s Matchroom NXT GEN press conference ahead of his English title eliminator with Grant Dennis
Dickinson (5-0) takes a big step up as he meets former Southern Area champion Dennis (18-5) on Saturday night in Newcastle.
Ahead of the fight, the pair met at a spicy press conference today. Dennis is 40 years old, 16 years senior to the young Dickinson and that was the first subject of the boxer’s trash talk.
Mark Dickinson: “This is a young man’s sport, you’re an old man. My dad’s down there, he’s about the same age as you.”
Grant Dennis: “You’re a young man, and you don’t look as good as this old man, it’s crazy. Physically you’re not as good and mentally…”
Mark Dickinson: “When you’re 5/6 rounds deep and I’m walking you down, giving you a beating, you’ll feel like an old man. Look at you, who are you trying to be? You look like Chris Eubank Jr off wish, you stupid-looking c**t. Your best achievement is going to points and losing on points. Going to points with someone who’s meant to be able to punch.”
Grant Dennis: “You’ll see Saturday night what professional boxing is about. Your little achievements in the amateurs and all things like that – I used to score 50-odd goals/season when I was 18 too, I didn’t do it in the Premier League though.”
Dickinson was a decorated amateur coming from the famous Birtley Gym. He won Gold at the European and Commonwealth Youth games.
