Internet sensation KSI and boxer Tommy Fury clash in a colossal crossover event on October 14 at Manchester’s AO Arena live on DAZN PPV.

KSI-Fury is just two weeks prior to another significant crossover fight in Tommy Fury’s older brother, Tyson Fury, taking on UFC star Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.

The fight will be contested over six rounds at 183 pounds, Fury’s bout with Jake Paul earlier in the year was over eight rounds.

It is believed that KSI wanted to fight at a lower weight against the Love Island star, that originally turned professional as a prospect in the 175-pound weight class.

Fury wanted to compete over eight rounds – a compromise was made with KSI giving up weight and Fury agreeing to a shorter timeframe.

Viddal Riley On KSI vs Tommy Fury

KSI goes into the fight as a big underdog and his ex-trainer Viddal Riley, who is also a championship-level boxer in his own right, is fully aware of the challenge.

“He’s not supposed to win”, Viddal Riley told NoSmokeSport, “It’s a big ask.”

Some critics have labelled this almost as the ‘death of influencer boxing’ with the biggest star in the space in KSI expected to experience defeat at the hands of Fury as did Jake Paul in February.

Riley is adamant that the social media superstar acknowledges the task in front of him and relishes doing the impossible.

“It’s almost miracle-like. But that’s what JJ likes, ‘if it’s that impossible watch me show you it’s possible.”
