- Dillian Whyte Is Out Of Saturday’s Fight Due To An Adverse Analytical Finding
- Anthony Joshua Will Fight Finland’s Robert Helenius This Saturday In London
- Joshua vs Helenius Running Order And Other Important Details Ahead Of Sat
The highly-anticipated rematch between Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte was cancelled on Saturday after Whyte had an adverse analytical finding in a doping test in the lead-up to the pair’s big Heavyweight rematch.
Joshua will instead face Robert Helenius (32-4, 21 KOs) this Saturday, August 12 at London’s 17,000-capacity O2 Arena live on DAZN. Joshua-Whyte was a DAZN PPV offering but Joshua-Helenius will be part of your regular DAZN subscription (NOT PPV).
The former unified Heavyweight champion returned to Lion’s Den in April, banking a twelve-round unanimous decision win over American Jermaine Franklin after back-to-back losses to Oleksandr Usyk.
Helenius pulled off a big upset over Adam Kownacki right before the pandemic and it was repeated on the Fury Wilder 3 Oct 2021 undercard. The Scandinavian was then drafted in as an opponent for Deontay Wilder but didn’t make it out of the first round.

IBF Mandatory World Title challenger Filip Hrgovic will clash with Australia’s undefeated contender Demsey McKean.
Hrgovic (15-0, 12 KOs), a Rio 2016 Olympic Bronze medallist, controversially outpointed Zhilei Zhang over twelve gruelling rounds last August.
That win, which was a Final Eliminator for the IBF Heavyweight World Title, has aged gracefully after 2008 Olympic Silver medallist Zhang upset Joe Joyce via a punishing sixth-round stoppage in April.
Queensland’s largely untested McKean (22-0, 14 KO) is trained by Tony Sims at the Matchroom Elite Boxing Gym in Essex.
The Aussie stopped Germany’s Patrick Korte in three rounds to claim the vacant IBF Intercontinental Title last time out in Brisbane. McKean has boxed in Australia, the US and the UK.
Heavyweight Derek Chisora (33-13, 23 KOs) will feature on the show against American Gerald Washington (20-5-1, 13 KOs).
Washington was last seen in action last year when he was stopped by Ali Eren Demirezen in the eighth round – a fight where he was ahead on the judge’s scorecards. Demirezen went on to beat Adam Kownacki in his next fight.
Romford Heavyweight sensation Johnny Fisher (9-0, 8 KOs) fights for his first professional title when he faces off with Harry Armstrong (5-1-1) for the vacant Southern Area Title.
Campbell Hatton (12-0, 5 KOs) steps up against domestic opposition as the Mancunian meets Hertfordshire’s Tom Ansell (10-4, 2 KOs) over eight rounds.
Hatton has been bought up gradually allowing ample time for development and with back-to-back stoppage wins, he now takes a slight step up against a man who has recently fought for domestic titles.
Ansell has suffered competitive points defeats to Sajid Abid and Denis Denikajev in the last eighteen months. The pair meet for the English title in September.
Last time out though, the 30-year-old was stopped in a round by Aaron Prospere which has perhaps given Hatton’s handlers some confidence about using Ansell as an opponent.
