GGG Retired? Fans All Say The Same Thing After Video Footage Surfaces

After seeing recent footage of former middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin, fans are all saying the same thing, “GGG Retirement?”

Kazakhstan’s former unified middleweight champion Golovkin (42-2-1, 37 KOs) has not boxed since his wide decision defeat to boxing’s biggest star Canelo Alvarez.

After their first two controversial encounters, the 41-year-old battled the Mexican Undisputed champion for the third time last September.

There was no debate this time though as GGG lost convincingly to Alvarez in front of 20,000+ fans at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Golovkin then vacated his two Middleweight titles leaving fans in doubt about whether he would enter the ring again after a professional career spanning 16 years,

GGG Retirement Rumoured After Energy Drink Promotion Video Emerges

GGG launched an energy drink after his name earlier this year.

There are two types currently available; an Apple flavour and an Orange flavour – although more are being developed including Lime.

Last month, the boxing star filmed a promo video for his drink.

Golovkin was noticeably heavier than fans are used to.

One comment said “My guy GGG looking like a LHW or close to HW”

Another advised GGG about his physical condition and suggested he took a farewell fight in Kazhakstan as rumoured to be the plan “keep yourself in shape, one fight in your homeland is enough”

A third claimed that the boxer wouldn’t enter the ring again due to his size, “I wouldn’t count on GGG ever fighting again.. Looks massive”

A fourth joked the energy drinks was behind GGG’s bloated body, “Damn how many of these energy drinks has GGG drank”

A fifth commenter simply asked “GGG Retirement?”
