Fulton vs Inoue Date Confirmed As P4P Matchup Added To Loaded Boxing Schedule

Sunday, May 7 will be the date for the highly anticipated clash between unified super bantamweight champion Stephen Fulton, and former 3 weight world champion Naoya Inoue. The fight will take place in the famous 20,000-capacity arena located in Inoue’s home country of Japan. 

The bout between the two unbeaten titans, could either cement the Japanese superstars’ Hall of Fame status or catapult Fulton into the P4P top 5. Fight fans agree that the matchup is amongst one of the best that can be made in all of boxing as two elite, undefeated fighters will put it all on the line for greatness. Fulton’s WBC and WBO Super Bantamweight titles will be on the line.

Top Rank, who represent Inoue, and the PBC, who are affiliated with Fulton, surprisingly worked out a deal to make the fight, despite concerns about the rival promoters working with each other.

Fulton vs Inoue will be broadcast on ESPN+ in the US, taking place in the early hours of Sunday morning, no UK broadcaster is confirmed but the bout could land on Sky Sports, who showcase Top Rank’s US fights.
