Azim vs Reyes: Unbeaten Pair Go Head To Head In International Clash In The Capital
NoSmokeBoxing’s prospect of the year Adam Azim (7-0, 6 KOs) meets the reigning, unbeaten WBA Fedecentro champion Nicaragua’s Santos Reyes (12-0, 3 KOs) this Saturday, February 11.
After a tremendous 2022, which included 5 KO victories in 5 fights all inside three rounds, Britain’s best prospect Azim takes another step up in competition against a dangerous South American, who is no stranger to tough matchups on paper. Reyes holds wins over 9-0 Bryan Jimenez, 15-2 Julio Laguna and 11-2 Ricardo Cortez.
Azim headlines for the second consecutive time after his two-round demolition job of Rylan Charlton last November at Alexandra Palace. The rising talent is expected to compete between 4-5 times in 2023 with a mix of co-main slots on major cards and headlining his own fight nights.
Azim Reyes takes place at London’s 10,000-capacity OVO Arena, Wembley with limited tickets still available through AXS. For those not in attendance, the action will stream live on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom. No US broadcast has been confirmed yet.
The preliminary action is expected to commence at 5:30 pm GMT live on the Sky Sports Boxing YouTube channel with the main card beginning two hours later at 8:00 pm GMT live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Arena.
Main event ring walks for Azim vs Reyes will begin no earlier than 10:00 pm GMT (5 pm ET, 2 pm PT) but this can vary depending on the length of undercard bouts.
