Undisputed Super Middleweight champion Franchon Crews-Dezurn defends her four titles against the former world middleweight titleist Savannah Marshall in a transatlantic title tilt this Saturday, July 1 at the AO Arena in Manchester, England live on Sky Sports in the UK.
Crews-Dezurn decisioned Elin Cedoroos on the historic Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano undercard at a sold-out Madison Square Garden last April to unify the four titles. Marshall is coming off her first career defeat, a convincing points loss at the hands of Claressa Shields and hopes to earn a rematch.
Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr were supposed to headline this card on June 17 and then July 1 but Smith withdrew with injury both times.
It appears the fight will not be rescheduled at all with Eubank shifting focus towards a far more lucrative bout with Conor Benn, tentatively planned for Sept 23 in the UAE or preferably a Sep date at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London subject to the conclusion of Benn’s case with UKAD.

Mark Jeffers (15-0, 4 KOs) replaces the injured Mark Heffron in a Commonwealth Silver title clash with Zak Chelli (13-1-1, 6 KOs).
Heffron had been due to defend his Commonwealth Championship against Chelli but was forced to withdraw due to an injury sustained in training.
Trainer Michael Jennings is confident of his fighter’s ability to step in on short notice and upset the surging Chelli, who carries career-best form into the bout as he comes off his dominant win over former WBA Intercontinental champion Anthony ‘The Magician’ Sims Jr in February.

This is Crighton’s fifth outing in under seven months, all competitive fights with him being 2-2 against the opposition who have a record of 50-2-1. Simpson will have a durable, active fighter in front of him, coming to win and we should find out a little bit more about the Barnsley 26-year-old.
