Jessica McCaskill Claims She Would Have Knocked Out Katie Taylor

In an exclusive interview with Boxing World Weekly, the unified Welterweight Champion Jessica McCaskill spoke candidly about her loss against Chantel Cameron and her desire to get back into the ring. McCaskill, known for her brutal style and power, made a bold statement saying she would have knocked out Katie Taylor had she fought her instead of Cameron.

When asked about her mindset following her loss to Cameron, McCaskill responded, “You know, be able to take a really big chance, and then if it doesn’t go the way that you plan, then you’re still okay. Obviously, it totally sucked… but fair games Chantelle.”

As the conversation shifted to Katie Taylor, McCaskill did not hold back. Speaking about Taylor’s recent bout against Cameron, McCaskill stated, “No, I would have knocked Katie out. Katie’s not old in the sense of like an old person but she’s an old fighter, she’s got a lot of miles on her.”

McCaskill also spoke about her eagerness to return to the ring and mentioned potential opponents. “There’s been conversation about Sandy Ryan…there’s been conversations about Natasha Jonas,” she revealed. McCaskill appears to be very open to different challenges, saying, “We’re very open to different things, to different opportunities, to different weight classes.”

The champion also shared insights into her life outside the ring. She spoke about visiting schools and giving back to the community. McCaskill mentioned, “I kind of give more money away, and I spread things around. I buy book bags for kids, and I just try to spread it around.”
