Carlos Takam Dominates Tony Yoka

Yoka’s recent performances suggest that he lacks the skills necessary to compete at the highest level, while Takam has proven himself to be a legitimate professional fighter, even at the age of 42.

Yoka’s cautious approach in the first round allowed Takam to take control and land powerful punches. Although Yoka landed some good shots in the second and third rounds, Takam continued to push forward and dominate the fight.

Yoka’s complacency and lack of urgency throughout the middle rounds allowed Takam to build a significant lead, and despite his trainer’s urging, Yoka failed to mount a comeback in the later rounds.

Carlos Takam came out strong in the final round and maintained his dominance over Yoka, who needed a knockout to win but was unable to make an impact. The scoring of the judges was questionable, but Takam’s victory improved his record to 40-7-1 (28KOs), while Yoka fell to 11-2 (9KOs), raising doubts about his future in the sport.
