Kazuchika Okada Is All Elite
Kazuchika Okada made his AEW debut on the March 6 Dynamite, which also served as the show’s season premiere. It was then confirmed that he has signed with the promotion and is officially All Elite.
Okada is best known for his time with NJPW, where he is a five-time former IWGP Heavyweight Champion. It had been reported for weeks that Okada had been signed by AEW, and ‘The Rainmaker’ made his on-screen debut on March 6.
On the March 6 Dynamite, The Young Bucks cut a promo as the EVPs suspended ‘Hangman’ Adam Page for his actions at the Revolution pay-per-view, they then proceeded to fire the injured Kenny Omega before being interrupted by Triple Crown Champion Eddie Kingston. The champion would begin getting attacked by The Young Bucks before the iconic coin drop rang through the entire Gas Arena in Duluth, Georgia.
As opposed to being of assistance to Kingston, ‘The Rainmaker’ immediately aligned himself with The Young Bucks. It was then announced that Okada was the newest member of The Elite.
