WWE Night Of Champions: Seth Rollins Becomes The Inaugural World Heavyweight Champion

WWE kicked off their Night Of Champions Pay-Per-View with the finals of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament to crown an inaugural heavyweight champion. 

After each winning two matches to advance in the tournament, Seth Rollins and AJ Styles made it to the finals and kicked off Night Of Champions to crown a first-ever champion.

Both men wowed the crowd in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia as they battled back and forth to try to cement their name into the history books. In the end, Seth Rollins hit his signature curb stomp to finish off AJ Styles and become the new champion. Triple H himself presented Rollins with the championship.

Seth Rollins continues to add more gold to his résumé and adds one more championship to his Grand Slam Championship list. 

The World Heavyweight Championship will be exclusive to the RAW brand on Monday Nights as Roman Reigns, current WWE Undisputed Universal Champion is exclusive to the SmackDown brand on Friday nights.
