The October 16 edition of Raw witnessed tensions in the women’s roster reach a fever-pitch. Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was in competition with Shayna Baszler before the match was interrupted by Zoey Stark, Raquel Rodriguez, and Nia Jax.
The five women will meet in a fatal five-way match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as confirmed by Raw General Manager, Adam Pearce. The Crown Jewel event will take place on Saturday, November 4.
Ripley has held the championship since night one of WrestleMania 39 and, at just over 200 days, ‘The Eradicator’ will face the greatest threat to her reign as she defends against four other women at the same time.
This officially becomes the second match to be confirmed for the Crown Jewel event, joining the World Heavyweight Championship match between Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Drew McIntyre.
