Triple H made an appearance on the season premiere of SmackDown on October 13, and he introduced a new general manager.

Nick Aldis Is The New SmackDown General Manager

Triple H made an appearance on the October 13 edition of SmackDown with a major announcement. WWE Official Adam Pearce gets a promotion to the Raw General Manager position, as Triple H announced, but SmackDown also gets a new general manager.

For the SmackDown brand, Nick Aldis steps into the role of General Manager. Aldis has fought for several promotions around the world and, in recent months, has been serving as an off-screen WWE producer. Moving forward, Aldis will move into an on-screen role.

Aldis made his first decision as SmackDown General Manager on the October 13 show, and that was to announce who SmackDown gained from Raw in exchange for Jey Uso. It was soon revealed to be none other than Kevin Owens.
