United Japan Pro-Wrestling Inauguration Event Confirmed

United Japan Pro-Wrestling is set to host its inaugural event in early May. Here is all there is to know about the event.

United Japan Pro-Wrestling All Together

The first event to be held under the United Japan Pro-Wrestling (UJPW) banner will be named All Together. The event will see the proceeds assist those who were affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake, which took place on January 1.

The event will see New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), Pro-Wrestling NOAH, DDT Pro-Wrestling, DRAGON GATE, Big Japan Pro-Wrestling (BJW) and STARDOM band together for the effort. The All Together United Japan Pro-Wrestling Inauguration & Noto Earthquaker Benefit event is set to take place on Monday, May 6 live from Tokyo, Japan.

The second UJPW event has also been made official, and it is set to take place on Saturday, June 15 in Sapporo, Japan. The second event will see a shift in focus to the member promotions that will be unable to participate on May 6.

Three matches have been confirmed for the All Together event.

  • Six-Man Tag Team Match: Naomichi Marufuji, Sanshiro Takagi & Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Yujiro Takahashi, Ren Narita & EVIL
  • Tag Team Match: Daisuke Sekimoto & Tomohiro Ishii vs. Masa Kitamiya & Jeff Cobb
  • Six-Man Tag Team Match: Yuki Ueno, Kaito Kiyomiya & Shota Umino vs. Shun Skywalker, Konosuke Takeshita & Yuya Uemura
