Trick Williams won the men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline, which took place live from Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Trick Williams Going To NXT New Year’s Evil
Trick Williams outlasted and outsmarted four other superstars to become the new men’s Iron Survivor. He has now earned the right to challenge NXT Champion, Ilja Dragunov (or Baron Corbin), at NXT New Year’s Evil. The event is set to take place on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
The men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match also featured Tyler Bate, Bron Breakker, Josh Briggs, and Dijak. For the majority of the match, Williams was in the unfavourable position of getting no points. In the closing moments of the match, Williams changed things up in a major way to get four points and beat out everyone else.
Williams gets his NXT title shot against either Dragunov or Corbin at the first NXT of 2024.
