Roman Reigns Returns On SmackDown, Confronted By Randy Orton

Roman Reigns returned on the December 15 edition of SmackDown and, upon his return, Randy Orton confronted him.

Roman Reigns Returns

After a brief hiatus, Roman Reigns returned on the December 15 edition of SmackDown. Reigns has just recently celebrated 1,200 days as the undisputed WWE Universal Champion.

Reigns had The Bloodline in tow for his first appearance in over a month, and he took the opportunity to thank and endorse Solo Sikoa. Before ‘The Tribal Chief’ could go any further, he was interrupted by the one and only Randy Orton.

Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton?

Orton signed with SmackDown to resolve his existing issues with The Bloodline and, with the return of Reigns, ‘The Viper’ wasted no time confronting the ones responsible for his injury and subsequent absence. Orton and Reigns exchanged words, with the former having a challenge for the champion.

Orton challenged Reigns to a match at Royal Rumble for the undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Though ‘The Tribal Chief’ toyed with the idea briefly, he ultimately denied the title challenge but Orton will not be looking to give up anytime soon.

Orton attempted to RKO Reigns but ‘The Tribal Chief’ managed to evade the attack. Over the next few weeks, it can be expected that Orton will attempt to make sure he gets the championship match.
