ROH Wrestling Results: March 2nd 2023

Here are your Wrestling results for ROH on March 2nd. Ring Of Honor television is back and kicked off its first episode of the new era today. The main event featured an ROH World Championship Match between the champion, Claudio Castagnoli and AR Fox. Fast forward to the end if you just came for the Wrestling Results.

Both men kicked off the match with the signature ‘code of honor’ handshake before getting into battle. The mix of styles made for an interesting matchup. Claudio tried his best to keep things grounded and on the mat. But, the speed and agility of AR Fox made it hard for Claudio to keep him down.

Eventually, the champion was fed up with the fast pace action and used a nasty uppercut to drop the challenger and take control of the match.

As AR Fox fought back, he showed why he’s deserving of a title match and really brought his best to the champion. He had Castagnoli nearly out of it with a big 450 splash off the top rope. But, it wasn’t enough. Claudio Castagnoli stayed alive and ended up catching Fox with a huge European uppercut for the win. Claudio Castagnoli is still ROH World Champion.

Following the match, Eddie Kingston made his way down to the ring and said he was an independent contractor so he can be here. Eddie said he promised Jon Moxley that he wouldn’t beat up Claudio in AEW, but this is ROH and he’s coming after the championship. Claudio had no words and left.  You can see the full results of the show below.
