The ‘Fighting Princess’ is one of the top-rising female stars in the world of pro wrestling. Having made her pro debut in Feb 2019, May has competed for several promotions and even went on to claim gold in some.
May was one-half of Rose Gold, teaming up with Mina Shirakawa, and the two would even capture the Goddess of Stardom Championship earlier in 2023. On September 30, during the 5 Star Grand Prix 2023 tournament, May would have her farewell match and depart from Stardom.
On the November 8 edition of Dynamite, May appeared in a backstage segment with RJ City. It appears that ‘The Glamour’ could soon find herself in a storyline with Toni Storm, as May cited her as the reason for her arrival in AEW.
Soon after that segment, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed May’s signing with the promotion.
