Kairi Sane Makes WWE Return At Crown Jewel
Kairi Sane made her return to WWE at Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to assist Iyo Sky in retaining the WWE Women’s Championship.
Kairi Sane Is Back In WWE
Kairi Sane made her return to the WWE to assist WWE Women’s Champion, Iyo Sky, in retaining her title at Crown Jewel. Sky was defending the gold against Bianca Belair but, following an attack delivered by Sane, ‘The Genius of the Sky’ picked up the victory.
Sane is notably known for her work in World Wonder Ring Stardom and recent work in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. She was also signed to the WWE between 2016 and 2021.
During her time in the WWE, Sane won the 2017 Mae Young Classic Tournament before going on to win the NXT Women’s Championship, as well as the Women’s Tag Team Championship with Asuka.
In March 2023, Sane confirmed she was a free agent and, since then, there have been reports that she might be WWE-bound. On November 2, it was reported that she had been added to the internal roster within WWE.
At Crown Jewel, Sane made her long-awaited return to the WWE and aligned herself with Sky.
