Kabuki Warriors Become New WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions

The Kabuki Warriors defeated Katana Chance & Kayden Carter to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions on the Jan. 26 SmackDown.

Kabuki Warriors Are The New Champions

Asuka and Kairi Sane – collectively known as the Kabuki Warriors – are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. The pair defeated Katana Chance and Kayden Carter to claim the gold on the January 26 edition of SmackDown.

This was Chance and Carter’s first reign with the title, with the pair having won the gold on the December 18 Raw. The reign has come to an end after 40 days.

This becomes the Kabuki Warrior’s second run with the title, with that reign ending at 180 days. This makes them the longest-reigning champions in the title’s history.

Damage CTRL is almost fully adorned in gold with the Kabuki Warriors joining WWE Women’s Champion Iyo Sky in the champion ranks.
