Johnny Gargano Returns On Raw To Save Tommaso Ciampa
Johnny Gargano made his return on the October 2 edition of Raw to save Tommaso Ciampa from an attack by Imperium.
DIY Reunite On Raw
Johnny Gargano was last seen on TV in May as a competitor in the WWE Intercontinental Championship number one contendership battle royal but, on the October 2 Raw episode, ‘Johnny Wrestling’ made his return.
Tommaso Ciampa challenged for Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship in the main event of Raw but proved unsuccessful as ‘The Ring General’ would force Ciampa to pass out from a choke. Following the bout, Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci attacked Ciampa but Gargano would return to even the odds.
Ciampa and Gargano have a storied history punctuated by moments of respect and intense rivalry as friends and foes. The return of Gargano promises the reuniting of #DIY in the coming weeks.
