Dragon Lee To Challenge For Title At NXT Deadline
Dragon Lee is set to make a return to NXT to challenge for a title at Deadline on Saturday, December 9.
Dragon Lee vs. Dominik Mysterio
On the December 5 edition of NXT, Wes Lee, who was set to challenge Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship at Deadline, announced that he had sustained an injury that would require surgery. As a result, he is out of action for some time and will not be able to compete at the PLE on Saturday.
Mysterio came out to address his fallen opponent but Lee had a trick up his sleeve. Instead of Mysterio having the night off, he was informed that he would indeed still be defending his title – specifically, Dragon Lee.
Dragon Lee has been a member of the SmackDown roster since early October. Although not officially a part of the stable, Lee has been affiliated with the LWO. Rey Mysterio will also be in attendance at the Deadline PLE, and he will be in Lee’s corner.
NXT Deadline is set to take place on Saturday, December 9.
