AEW Continental Classic Gold League Finals Set For Next Week

AEW Continental Classic Gold League Finals Set For Next Week

The AEW Continental Classic finals are just one week away on next Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite. Tonight, we found out who will be entering into the finals for the gold league.

AEW Continental Classic Semi-Finals

Swerve Strickland and RUSH kicked off the night and it was a must win scenario for RUSH, but he just couldn’t pull it out. Swerve Strickland ended up picking up the victory to earn three more points in the tournament and secure his spot in the finals. In the main event, Jon Moxley took on Jay White. Moxley was already the points leader, so he’s in the finals, but if Jay White picked up the win, he’d be in the gold league finals as well in triple threat action. After a tough battle, Jay White picked up the win. Therefore, next week, Jay White vs. Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland will take place in the gold league finals to see who goes to the tournament finals at AEW Worlds End.

This Saturday on AEW Collision, we see who heads to the finals for the blue league as Bryan Danielson takes on Claudio Castagnoli, Brody King takes on Daniel Garcia and Andrade El Idolo takes on Eddie Kingston. AEW Collision is this Saturday at 8PM ET on TNT. Both league finals will take place next Wednesday on AEW Dynamite at 8PM ET on TBS.
