Fight Takeaways: Strickland looked great in this fight. He weaponized his cardio and pace to deplete Magomedov by the second round. When the opportunity to finish the fight came, Strickland took advantage quickly. He ended the contest with vicious ground and pound.

#15 Grant Dawson Def. #12 Damir Ismagulov Via UD (30-27 30-27 30-26 Lightweight Bout)

Fight Takeaways: Dawson controlled the fight from the back of Ismagulov for most of the fight. He did work some creative submissions, but he wasn’t able to get the finish. However, it was still an incredibly impressive performance. Dawson should get another ranked opponent if not top 10 in his next fight as he continues to shoot up the ranks.

Michael Morales Def. Max Griffin Via UD (29-28 29-28 29-28 Welterweight)

Fight Takeaways: Morales was clearly the superior fighter however, Griffin still made it a fight. Morales used his length and creative striking to hurt Griffin badly but he was not able to get him out of the fight. It was a great performance for the 24-year-old fighter, who has a bright future in the UFC.

Ariane Lipski Def. Mellissa Gatto Via SD (30-27 29-28 28-29 Women’s Flyweight)

Fight Takeaways- It was a highly contested bout, with neither woman obviously separating themselves. Lipski improves to 16-8 and 5-3 in the UFC, while Gatto falls to 8-2-2 and 2-2 in the UFC.

Benoit Saint-Denis Def. Ismael Bonfim Via Rd. 1 Submission (Lightweight)

Saint-Denis was able to use his superior grappling to get the back of Bonfim and find the rear naked choke. This snapped a 13-fight winning streak for Bonfim, while Saint-Denis is now on a 3-fight win streak.

Nursulton Ruziboev Def. Brunno Ferriera Via Rd. 1 KO/TKO (Middleweight)

Incredible UFC debut for Ruziboev, as he made it look easy against the very dangerous Ferriera. He was able to perfectly execute a right hand over the low kick of Ferriera, sending him to the canvas and ending it with ground and pound.
