Michael ‘Venom’ Page Is Set To Make His Return to Bellator Against #5 Ranked Goiti Yamauchi at Bellator 292

Bellator has announced one of MMA’s most entertaining strikers is returning to the cage. After losing to former UFC fighter Mike Perry, in his bare-knuckle boxing debut last August; #2 ranked welterweight Michael ‘Venom’ Page (20-2) is set to return to MMA at Bellator 292.

His opponent is the #5 ranked welterweight, Goita Yamauchi (28-5). Yamauchi is riding a three-fight winning streak all by way of finish. His most recent victory came against Neiman Gracie, who is currently ranked #6 in the Bellator welterweight rankings.

Page is coming off of a loss by split decision in his last Bellator fight against Logan Storley, which was for the interim Welterweight Championship. Despite that loss, Page is 6-1 in his last seven Bellator fights, including a split-decision victory against Douglas Lima.

The fight is taking place on the Bellator 292 card on March 10, 2023. The event will take place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The main event features Bellator Lightweight Champion Usman Nurmagomedov vs. former UFC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson.

That bout will be a part of the first round in the 8-man Bellator Lightweight Grand Prix tournament, in which the winner of the tournament will receive 1 million dollars in prize money. Co-feature #2 Tofiq Musayev vs #4 Alexander Shabliy, will also be part of the first round of the tournament. The rest of the first round will consist of #1 Patricky Pitbull vs #8 AJ McKee as well as #5 Sidney Outlaw vs Mansour Barnaoui which will take place later this year.
