CONOR MCGREGOR UFC RETURN CONFIRMED BY DANA WHYTE!

Conor McGregor, the former two-weight champion, is making his long-awaited return to the UFC to face Michael Chandler in what promises to be one of the biggest fights of the year.

McGregor, who last fought in a trilogy defeat against Dustin Poirier in July 2021, has been teasing a comeback ever since. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see the Irish superstar back in action, and their wait is finally over.

Dana Whyte confirmed on Saturday that McGregor will return to coach a team for The Ultimate Fighter 31 and will take on a team coached by former three-time Bellator champion Michael Chandler. The two will then square off in the Octagon for a blockbuster finale.

The two fighters have a lot of similarities. Both are known for their striking prowess, knockout power, and confident personalities, making this fight an intriguing match-up. Chandler, who has a professional record of 23-8, will be looking to prove himself against one of the biggest names in the sport, while McGregor, who has a record of 22-6, will be looking to reclaim his position as one of the top fighters in the Octagon.

Following the announcement Chandler took to Instagram to post a video in which he said “Pumped is an understatement… See you at the top! “The cat is out the bag! Team Chandler vs Team McGregor. Heading to Las Vegas very soon to film in the same city as my future opponent later this year, Conor McGregor.”

The exact date and location of the fight have not been officially confirmed, but it is expected to take place later this year. Fans can expect a night of high-stakes action as two of the sport’s top fighters collide in the octagon.
