After back-to-back fight-of-the-year contenders, Cyrus Pattinson has his next fight date.
Pattinson will rematch Conah Walker, who stopped the former Team GB star after eight rounds in a huge upset this August.
The bout will feature on Matchroom’s NXT GEN card at the Utilita Arena, Newcastle, England on Saturday, February 10 live on DAZN.
Walker dropped Pattinson three times in the contest and rocked him badly in round eight which forced the corner to stop the fight.
Although the Midlands fighter was getting the better of the action, it was back-and-forth and a very entertaining fight to watch.
Both Samuel Antwi and Kane Gardener who have beaten Walker did so by keeping the fight at long range whilst Pattinson did what he’s done his whole career, trade power punches up close.
A different strategy will be required from the former WBA International Welterweight champion if he wants to avenge his only defeat and get his career back on track.
Pattinson vs Walker Rematch Card
Matchroom’s North-East stable of talent which includes Cameron Vuong, Mark Dickinson, Calum French and Pat McCormack could all feature on the show although it is likely that McCormack will not be fit in time for Feb 10 as he is still recovering from an injury.
