MISFITS 005 PREVIEW- SWINGLER VS NICHLMAO AND TAG TEAM BOXING!
Misfits returns for its 5th outing Saturday night live on DAZN, this time in Telford. Ever the eye brow raiser, more questions and eyes have been cast on the event this time with the first ever tag team boxing match. We take a look at what you can expect from Misfits 005.
The Main Event Saturday night will be Jay Swingler vs Nicholai Perrett (better known as Nichlmao). Swingler returns for his second consecutive headline show, following his dominant performance over YouTuber Cherdleys at Misfits 002, and will look to overcome the YouTube sensation on his home turf.
The event will also feature a unique tag-team boxing match with Misfits 004 opponents Luis Pineda and BDave (Los Pineda Coladas) teaming up to take on Anthony Vargas and Ice Poseidon. The later (who were a replacement pair for the team of Stromedy & Austin Sprinz) will be known as D-Generation Ice, bringing a touch of WWE to the boxing ring.
While not on the same scale as the spectacle that was Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia last weekend, Misfits Boxing 005 will still see some big names in the influencer scene fighting, with former Love Island contestant AJ Bunker going head-to-head against OnlyFans model and social media star Astrid Wett.
The sold out event is scheduled to begin at 7pm on Saturday with the main event set for 10:30pm. The fight card also includes King Kenny vs Ashley Tebi from Rak-Su, Deen The Great vs Pully Arif, Walid Sharks vs Ace Musa (late replacement for N&A Productions) , Ginty vs Halal Ham, and Tempo Arts vs Godson. However, the fight card is subject to change.
KSI’s Misfits events have been a tremendous success, with fans eagerly anticipating each event. While KSI may not be fighting this weekend, the card promises plenty of action, with some big names competing in the ring.
