KSI vs Tommy Fury PPV Sales Expected To Exceed 1m Buys, ‘Obliterate’ ALL Records

  • KSI and Tommy Fury Collide At The Weekend Live On DAZN PPV
  • Their Mega Bout Is The Biggest Ever In Crossover Boxing History
  • Many Are Predicting The KSI vs Tommy Fury PPV Sales To Exceed 1m

Social Media sensation KSI and boxer turned reality TV star Tommy Fury clash in a mammoth influencer boxing match this Saturday, October 14 at a sold-out AO Arena, Manchester live on DAZN PPV.

The fight will be contested over six rounds at 183 pounds – Fury’s side requested 8 rounds but KSI gave way to a higher weight limit, so Fury’s side was forced to accept the lesser round number.

Logan Paul and Dillon Danis meet in a co-feature which has arguably overtaken the main event in terms of attention and pre-fight build-up largely due to the controversial tactics used by Danis for the promotion.

This involves the tormenting of Paul’s fiance Nina Agdal, who has now filed a lawsuit against Danis for the constant harassment and berating she has suffered in the build-up.

Alongside that, there is a stacked card which has captured the attention of influencer boxing fans immensely.

KSI-Tommy Fury has been tipped by many to break all UK pay-per-view records due to the huge amount of buzz surrounding the fight.

It is unclear exactly where the current UK PPV record stands but Anthony Joshua’s Wembley Stadium bout with Wladimir Klitschko is understood to hold the record at around 1.2m buys.

KSI has boxed several times before on PPV. His first fight with Logan Paul amassed around 1.2m buys globally.

The second clash between KSI and Paul was available as part of a regular DAZN subscription. KSI has fought three times on DAZN PPV since his comeback last August.

His two fights in one night event generated approximately 445,000 buys whilst his fights with Faze Temperr and Joe Fournier are understood to have accumulated around 300,000 buys.

It is unclear how many of the buys were from the UK for both of the above fights.

All of KSI’s recent opponents have had little interest with KSI’s starpower carrying much of the promotion around the events.

KSI’s bout with Tommy Fury, who himself generated 800,000 global buys for his fight with Jake Paul, is vastly different though.

Not only is the main event the big step-up fans have been waiting for KSI to take, their is a co-feature arguably as anticiated as the main event and Misfits have gone all out on the undercard.

Kalle Sauerland, the promoter of KSI vs Tommy Fury, didn’t give an exact number but he expects Saturday’s mega event to break all UK PPV records.

“A fight week, on a week which is going to smash, absolutely obliterate PPV records in this country,” Sauerland told talkSPORT, “Seven figures (1m+). 2bn impressions since this was announced. It’s insane.”
