KSI Next Fight Date And Location Revealed
KSI Next Fight: Set For Misfits 007 Headliner?
Internet sensation KSI recently confirmed in Logan Paul’s ‘Impaulsive‘ podcast that he would be making his boxing return in May.
Misfits Boxing announced earlier this year that they’d be staging a show in London, England on May 13 and with that being their only offering in May, it is likely to be KSI’s return date.
The bout is expected to land on a DAZN platform, likely a DAZN pay-per-view. No venue was confirmed but is expected to be either the 18,000-capacity O2 Arena or the OVO Arena, Wembley.
KSI has boxed twice under the Misfits banner live on DAZN PPV. His August 27 two fights in one night delivered a sell-out 18,000 crowd at The O2 Arena featuring and sold 445,000 Pay-per-views. 90% of the buys came from new subscribers suggesting the YouTube star drew over 400k new subscriptions for DAZN.
His second headliner on Jan 14 of this year had a sell-out crowd of 10,200 at the OVO Arena, Wembley and delivered 300,000 PPV sales on DAZN, a decrease by 33%. This fight was PPV in more territories and still sold fewer PPVs.
Potential opponents for the British influencer include former light heavyweight professional boxer Joe Fournier, fan favourite Salt Papi, 4-time UFC champion Tyron Woodley and the former ICB Light Heavyweight champion Slim.
