Bolton Super-Lightweight prospect Khaleel Majid (10-0, 3 KOs) makes his Matchroom debut against Italy’s Alessandro Fersula (9-4) over eight rounds.
Majid has never faced a fighter with a winning record or boxed over six rounds making this a significant step in the right direction for ‘Major’. Fersula has gone the distance in all four of his professional defeats and been relatively competitive – a tough operator awaits Majid.
Majid-Fersula is the second fight on the main card of Matchroom’s NXT GEN headlined by Galal Yafai-Tommy Frank at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England this Saturday, August 19, live on DAZN.
Majid signed an advisory deal with Sam Jones and soon after a multi-fight promotional deal with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing after a 5-year stint on the small hall scene.
